Here at Tessera, we are lucky to have a wealth of beautiful coastline within easy reach of our homes.  There is no wonder then, that it is a huge inspiration to households in this area for their interior schemes.  But don't let the lack of beach hold you back, bring it in with your decoration instead.  We have taken the opportunity to revisit a couple of popular collections from Sanderson as they offer timeless coastal charm suitable for any number of uses and a great addition to your home design toolbox.

First up are the Port Isaac collections:  a range of coordinating fabric and wallpaper to make scheming a breeze!  Embroideries, prints and weaves have fun in colourful sea designs.  The palette is based on soft calming water and sky blues but brought to life by pops of contrasting coral, bold marine teal and lichen green.

To celebrate coastal living and our seaside resorts, Port Isaac includes 10 wallpaper designs.  All have a relaxed and family friendly feel that make them so easy to live with.

Hand drawn designs of beach huts, seagulls and sailing boats are found alongside corals, sea urchins and trailing sea kelp.  Definition is added with subtle mica highlights and shimmering metallic inks which draw you in to the detail.

Make it as fun or as tranquil as suits, you really are spoilt for choice.

The next costal inspired range is the more elegant Embleton Bay: These fabrics were designed to  effortlessly blend the serenity of the British coastline with the harmony of nature. They do this through dreamy colourways that echo our landscapes in a collection that evokes peaceful calm.

With printed fabrics, embroideries, toiles and trailing motifs, weaves and broad linen stripes, the collection imitates the understated textures and finishes found in the natural world effortlessly.

And for easy coordination, add the matching wallpaper ranges.  Accurate depictions of flora and fauna are paired with harbour views and expansive skies.

All ten wallpapers are paste the wall.

So why not take a little of the beach back with you?  Visit us to take a look and see what inspires your coastal dreams.
